Day 1:
Arrive Cape Town & transfer to Blue Oceans Beach House
in Muizenberg, on the False Bay Coast. Spend the afternoon at leisure
exploring the False Bay, Surfers Corner or the quaint fishing village
of Kalk Bay.
Day 2:
7:30 am - English Breakfast at Blue Oceans Beach House.
Depart 8:30 am for Cape Town and Table Mountain. Explore the top of the
mountain, experience the optional Abseiling activities, or simply revel
in the breath taking beauty and tranquillity of the views. Depart 1:00
pm for tour of Cape Town City Centre, including the old castle and Green
Market Square, where a there is ample opportunity to buy Zulu & Xhosa
traditional souvenirs. Depart 5:00 pm to Blue Oceans Beach House. Depart
7:00 pm for dinner at Gaylord's, in Muizenberg, where traditional Cape
Malay Curries and Indian dishes are a speciality.
Day 3:
7:30 am - Continental Breakfast at Blue Oceans Beach House.
Depart 8:30 am for Groot Constantia the historical Cape Dutch Wine Estate.
Depart 10:00 am for picturesque fishing village of Hout Bay, where a boat
trip on the open sea to view the colony of seals on Seal Island, combines
with the spectacular views of the world renowned Chapman's Peak. Browse
around the curio shops, fish market or sample some local fish & Chips.
Depart 12:30 pm for a scenic leisurely drive along the Twelve Apostles
Mountain road to Camps Bay, the cosmopolitan centre of Sea Point and onto
the V & A Waterfront Harbour. Depart 2:00 pm Robben Island Ferry and
tour of the infamous maximum-security prison, home to Nelson Mandela for
26 years.
Depart 5:00 pm ferry to V & A Waterfront, where dinner can be enjoyed
at the Quay 4, harbour side tavern. ( Infamous for selling the most beer
in South Africa ).
Depart 7:00 pm to Blue Oceans Beach House.
Day 4:
7:30 am - Continental Breakfast at Blue Oceans Beach House. Depart 8:30 am for day trip to the majestic Cape wine producing regions of Stellenbosch and Franshoek, which are nestled in the Hottentots Holland Mountains. Enjoy lunch and wine tasting at the beautiful Spier Wine Estate. Three wine estates will be visited, including Wiesenhof Farm, a unique setting, where a large variety of game can be viewed in their natural habitat. Depart 5:00 pm for Blue Oceans Beach House, where a traditional South African Braai ( BBQ ) will be enjoyed.
Day 5:
7:30 am - English Breakfast at Blue Oceans Beach House. Depart 8:30 am
for Baileys Kloof, where a short hike up the Silver Mountains will start,
for panoramic views of False Bay and the Cape Flats.
Depart 12:30 pm for a short train trip along the False Bay Coast, from
Muizenberg to the quaint, historical Naval town of Simons Town. Enjoy
lunch or explore the town at own leisure.
Depart 2:30 pm for a scenic leisurely drive to the Penguin colony of Boulders
Beach, and on to the Cape Point Nature Reserve. A short ride in the funicular
takes you up to the breath taking Cape Point, where the spell bounding
merger of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans can be experienced.
Depart 5:30 pm to Blue Oceans Beach House. Depart 7:00 pm for the Brass
Bell Tavern, on Kalk Bay Harbour, where dinner can be enjoyed.
Day 6:
7:30 am - English Breakfast at Blue Oceans Beach House. Depart 8:30 am
for Grand West Casino, where gambling, Ice-skating or movies can be enjoyed.
Depart 11:00 am for Century City, South Africa's largest shopping complex,
where lunch can be enjoyed at your own leisure. Depart 1:30 pm for Ratanga
Junction Theme Park, where unlimited fun and adrenaline rides can be enjoyed.
Dinner can be enjoyed at any number of restaurants in the main arena,
where live shows are always entertaining. Depart 7:00 pm to Blue Oceans
Beach House.
Day 7:
7:30 am - Breakfast at Blue Oceans Beach House. Depart 8:30 am for Cape Town City, where morning is spent at leisure, exploring. Depart 12:00 pm for transfer to airport.
